Misquotes? Really? Well, if I haven’t watched these movies in a while, I wouldn’t have known these were misquotes. According to the website lovefilm.com, 1,500 filmgoers voted and the above movie misquotes made the top 10 list. Moral of the story? I guess we should be paying better attention to the dialogue of movies we watch. Darren Bignell of LOVEFiLM commented, “Iconic film lines are part of everyone’s vocabulary these days, but it’s interesting how years of quoting have had a Chinese whisper effect on accuracy.” Very interesting indeed.
