Trouble in PC world

It turns out Conficker, a malicious software program, isn’t a false alarm anymore. April 1st was when security experts had said this worm would’ve been activated, but now they are saying it is slowly and quietly turning thousands of PC’s into servers for installing spyware and emailing spam. Also known as Downadup or Kido, this slave-turning virus has apparently been spreading to millions of computers since last year. It was just a few weeks ago that the unknown creators started to use it for criminal purposes on a small percentage of PC’s. The VP of Symantec Security Response has warned that the worm will be long-term, slowly changing and not to expect it to be fast, aggressive. Wow. All the more reason to switch to a Mac, right?
